In an era where you have to constantly prove your worth, maybe in the near future, we go beyond ‘Well-living’. You will also have to prove how to ‘Well- dying’. Memento Mori (2023) examines the attitudes modern people should take for the “well-dying” of today’s society and helps shape their intangible heritage.

The project, which has spanned about a year, strives to break away from the previous industrial design format aimed at mass production, I wanted to talk about human desire as pure reality.

‘In the face of death, everyone is equal, but ‘dying well’ is not equal for all. The desire to show the conclusion of one’s life has persisted throughout our history for a long time.

If ‘dying well’ is used as a means of indicating ‘having lived well,’ what might the appearance of well-dying be in the not-too-distant future?
How can my death, the final words for those left behind, be socially recognized and valued?

Through approximately six months of research and workshops to find answers to the question, ‘How can our well-dying desires be realized?’ it was concluded that

1. the concrete realization of well-dying is applicable to individuals aged 45 and above.
2. Well-dying can be achieved by recording and addressing the ‘concerns’

MEMENTO/MORI is a tool that assists in capitalizing on the value of your ‘well- dying,’ which may be considered useless in the near future. Through this tool, you can become a respected and dignified individual in society.

Through MEMENTO, you can measure the weight of your final statements. Please prove your well-dying intent through capitalized final statements. Final statements can only be measured once a day and must be below 45 units. After measurement, you will receive a unique ID number that proves your
well-dying autonomy.

Each people can have only one ID number, and this unique tagging number will be passed on to your descendants after your passing. After the conclusion of your service and the retrieval of MEMENTO, the capitalized final statements will be registered with the tagging number.

After your passing, your loved ones (Lover) will receive the recorded ID from ME- MENTO, transmitted as MORI. Your descendants can tag the Well-dying ID through the service to access your memorialized memories. Through this service, they will be able to possess the proud assets of your will.
